"Clinical Workshop on Cardiac CT" - Course Description

This course is designed for cardiologists and radiologists who would like to deepen and expand their clinical knowledge and practical skills on cardiac CT using the SOMATOM Sensation 64, AS(+) and Definition.

The two-day course includes lectures, clinical presentations, and offers individualized, hands-on CTA training to a small number of participants (max. 10) using the syngo MultiModality Workplaces. Each 2 participants will use one workstation throughout the course.

All aspects of cardiac CT imaging (coronary calcium scoring, coronary CT angiography, functional cardiac imaging, myocardial viability imaging, valve imaging) will be addressed in comprehensive lectures that support the hands-on training sessions and final report generation.

The training will be held by both radiologists and cardiologists. By the end of the course, participants will be prepared to complete Level 2 ACC-AHA certification. Imaging skills learned on the workstations will easily be transferable for the use with other vendors´ equipment.
