Basic Techniques & Instruments

Basic Techniques and Instruments is an introductory course for young physician and allied health professionals. It provides students with an understanding of the physical principles and instruments of ultrasound and how these principles apply to clinical practice. Topics include ultrasound, transducers, sonographic instruments, spectral and color-flow Doppler instruments, artefacts, performance and safety.
