In the management of trauma victims sonography plays an ever increasing role. It enables rapid, precise diagnosis of e.g. injuries to internal organs, mayor vascular injuries as well as the presence of free fluid or air.
We offer a 2 day basic and 4 day advanced course for those physicians (surgeons, radiologists and anesthesiologists) involved in trauma management. This course focuses on the requirements of emergency ultrasound integrating the fundamentals of limited diagnostic ultrasound imaging. The course will be directed by senior emergency physicians and radiologists who have extensive experience in trauma management.
